CRU Calendar

After you get moved in, join a bunch of us on Harris Field for what we call Fun Sports Friday.  Just some informal Volleyball, Cornhole, Spikeball, Ultimate, etc.  Look around for a bunch of us and a  couple CRU signs.  We'd love to have you join us  !

Hanging out at Bojangles is a tradition with CRU at NC State !  This first Friday night, we are meeting at the Bojangles on Western at 7:00 to hang out an grab some food.  It will be packed so get ready to meet some people. We will also do this every Thursday night after large group.

Come chill with us and get some food from the grill. We'll have volleyball, spikeball and corn hole to play. We'll also be grilling out burgers and hot dogs! Come for the food or just to hang out and meet people. Its an easy walk from campus. Go down W Dunn Ave (between Reynolds and the train tracks) towards Pullen Park/East Campus...cross over Pullen Dr and follow the CRU signs.  We'll be at shelters 1, 2, 3, 4, & 6

Continuing our day of fasting and prayer to set the tone for how our hearts should approach what we are trusting the Lord with, we will spend this time prayer walking our campus begging for Him to move where the soil is tough. To soften hearts and maybe to harden them as well. We have a map that will carry you around campus pleading before the Lord on behalf of students who do not know the Father. We will start at Wolf Plaza at 545pm and meet back in Talley 3285 to break our fast with pizza.

We're having a Shag Dancing Night on Tuesday, Aug 18th from 8-10pm out at Harris Field.  Look for the CRU signs.  It should be a lot of fun.  Grab some friends and come on out.  If you don't know how and would like to learn, there will be plenty of people that would love to teach you !.

If you live on Central Campus and want to meet some more people in CRU, then swing by our Ice Cream event on Tucker Beach, Tuesday  from 6:00pm til dark.  Most of the Central small group leaders will be there and you can meet some of them if you're looking for a group.  We'll be out there playing Volleyball, Spikeball, and Cornhole and serving free ice cream with toppings.  Swing by and hang out for a while.

Join us for our weekly large group meeting. This is one of the best ways to check out CRU.  This week, we will be on campus in Stewart Theater and will get to hear from Jordan Penley who is the lead pastor at Kings Table church here in Raleigh.  We will also have MC's to catch us up on what's going, a great music team to lead us in some worship, and a speaker to encourage us from the Bible. Afterwards, we all head to Bojangles on Western Blvd for some free sweet tea and to hang out and then a bunch will go over to Witherspoon/Harris Field on campus to play Cornhole and Spikeball (weather depending). We hope you can come hang out with us !

FRESHMEN - come join us for a free pizza cookout on Thursday, Aug 20th at 6:00 down on Harris Field  (corner of Cates & Dan Allen).  We'll have pizza, dessert, drinks and we'll also have some cornhole boards and spikeball nets setup.  Come hang out and meet some more people in CRU.  Afterwards, we will all be heading out to go to our weekly large group meeting in Stewart Theater (Talley SC). Be sure to come on out and invite your roommate !

We are having a Luau/Pool party at Shepherds Vineyard pool from 9pm - 11pm.  Get your bathing suit and Hawaiian shirt and come hang out with us.  Cost is $3 (Venmo, Cash, CR Card)

We're having a big 6v6 Volleyball tournament on Lee Fields (behind Lee Dorm) starting at 4:00pm.  Sign Up to play and we will put teams together and email you when your first match is and who's team you're on.  You can sign up with one other person or go solo and we'll put you on a team.  It's a lot of fun !  Sign up and come on out.  (please only sign up if you plan to participate).  Sign ups close at noon on Friday.  If you just wanna come watch, come on (no need to sign up) !
